In the heart of Valletta, this renovation for Maypole’s ta’ Nenu began with a clear intention: make the space feel relevant today, without forgetting where it came from.

The brief asked for evolution, not erasure. The historic limestone remains the protagonist, its proportions and rhythm carefully preserved. Around it, we refined the brand’s once dominant maroon, deepening it into a richer burgundy that feels more grounded, more mature. Windsor green steps in as its counterpart, adding depth and quiet confidence.

Lighting became our subtle storyteller. Introduced generously yet thoughtfully, it grazes arches, and highlights texture, allowing the architecture to speak. At the same time, it softens the atmosphere, ensuring the space feels welcoming, warm, and unmistakably alive.
